DMV Technologies développe sa propre solution de diffusion multimédia : MaxTV Server.
MaxTV Server fonctionne sous Windows et Linux.

MaxTV Server utilise deux technologies de diffusion : la technologie streaming et la technologie peer-to-peer.

MaxTV Server peut diffuser du contenu sous les formats vidéo MPEG2, MP4, NSV, H264 et WMV/WMA (dont ceux protégés par DRM).

MaxTV Server est compatible avec plusieurs logiciels d'encodage vidéo et de diffusion dont Windows Media Encoder 9, Wirecast, VLC et NSV Tools.

MaxTV Server fonctionne selon 3 modes de diffusion : "streaming", "peer-to-peer", "twice" :

- En mode "streaming", les flux sont disponibles par le protocole HTTP.
Les accès peuvent être sécurisés l'authentification par la récupération d'une clé d'identification prédéfinies ou générées par MaxTV Server et/ou autorisation/bloquage d'adresse IP.

- En mode "peer-to-peer", les flux sont disponibles par le protocole peer-to-peer propriétaire de DMV Technologies : MaxTV Network Protocol.
Les accès peuvent être sécurisés par des clés d'authentification prédéfinies ou générées par MaxTV Server, et/ou autorisation/bloquage d'adresse MAC.
MaxTV Network Protocol est capable de transporter des données vidéo /audio mais également d'autres types de données : texte, image.
Certaines de ces données peuvent être acheminées sous un format spécifique (c'est le cas des données EPG par exemple).
MaxTV Network Protocol sera disponible sous MaxTV 3.31 et au-dessus.
Une version standalone (MaxTV ActiveX) sera également disponible.

- En mode "twice", les deux technologies sont activées.
